Pastoral Centre - Marsabit-Saku

This center serves as a venue for retreats, seminars, and training sessions for the Catholic community in Marsabit Diocese. It supports pastoral programs and community outreach in the region.

Maria Mfariji Shrine - Marsabit-Saku

Also known as Mary the Consoler Shrine, this shrine was officially opened in 2006. Located near Marsabit town, it is a sacred space for prayer, reflection, and spiritual gatherings. Pilgrims visit for personal devotion and diocesan events. The Mfariji Shrine House of Prayer is situated on a hill adjacent to Mt. Marsabit in
northern Kenya. The corner stone was laid in 2002 and after two years (2004) the first
phase was opened and that included the chapel. They later opened the remainder in
2008. A retired Catholic bishop, Rt. Rev Ambrose Ravasi, was the man who initiated the
Shrine House project and instigated it.

Sololo Hospital - Sololo

Sololo Mission Hospital is a faith based Kenya Episcopal Conference-Catholic Secretariat primary care hospital located in Sololo, Moyale in Marsabit County. As of 2021, the facility was fully operational with a capacity of 130 beds. It is regulated by Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council under registration number 12739.

Laisamis Hospital - Laisamis

Similar to Sololo, this hospital caters to the health needs of the Laisamis community, with a focus on accessible and quality medical care. Catholic Hospital Laisamis is a faith based Kenya Episcopal Conference-Catholic Secretariat primary care hospital located in Laisamis (Located Along Isiolo – Moyale Highway. About 160km From Isiolo) Laisamis in Marsabit County. As of 2021, the facility was fully operational with a capacity of 45 beds and 5 cots. It is regulated by Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council under registration number 16215.

St. Paul Secondary School - Dirib Gombo

St. Paul’s Secondary School is a single-stream boarding school
located at Dirib about 10km South East of Marsabit town onthe lee side of Mt Marsabit; it has a population of about 180 boys. It is a private school owned by the Catholic Diocese of Marsabit and administrated by the De La Salle (Christian) Brothers. The adequate facilities at the school include: 4 classrooms, a multi-purpose hall, a spacious library, science laboratories and a computer laboratory (with about 40 computers and several printers).

Fr. Tablino Academy Maikona Catholic Mission

Diocese of marsabit is Celebrating 95th Birthday of the Late Fr. Paul Tablino.
He served as a priest in 1970-1979 and from 1991-1994 and during his stay in Maikona, FR Tablino was focused on changing the life of the nomads through evangelization, education and establishing social amenities such as hospitals and schools in the community.
For his Rememberance, Fr. Claudio Istioc, the Parish Priest Maikona Parish and the Christian Community in 2019 started Fr. Tablino Academy. Fr. Tablino Academy is a unique and one of its kind mission school located in Maikona, an oasis at the Northern edge of the Chalbi Desert under the Catholic Diocese of Marsabit.

Caritas Marsabit (CM) is the development arm of the Diocese responsible for coordination and the implementation of development activities in the Catholic Diocese of Marsabit. The function of Caritas Marsabit aligns itself with the objectives of the pastoral department of the diocese, whose main function is evangelization. The organization’s mission is to empower the people to know God and live in dignity and harmony. It envisions a people holistically empowered in line with the gospel values.

Don Bosco Technical Institute - Saku:Don Bosco Institute Marsabit is situated in Marsabit county, northern part of Kenya, one kilometer from Marsabit town. The institution engages in a number of revenue-generating activities which includes production of steel doors, windows and gates, design of modern mahogany tables, with side stools, modern dressing wardrobes, rotating modern round tables, wooden beds & bed frames, hotels, churches and apartments mahogany wooden chairs, poultry farming, fresh vegetables farming and maize farming.
Radio Jangwani is a community radio station situated in Marsabit County broadcasting from Marsabit town. It is the brain child of the bishop of catholic diocese of Marsabit, Rt. Rev. Peter Kihara. It is established with the objective of reaching the people Marsabit diocese and Marsabit County for evangelization, Education, entertaining and disseminating information to the masses.
