Formed for Service

The Diocese of Marsabit is blessed with seminarians in various stages of formation from preparatory and philosophy studies to theology.

These young men come from different ethnic communities within the Diocese, reflecting the unity and diversity of the local Church.

Seminary formation focuses on:

• Spiritual growth and prayer life
• Intellectual formation in philosophy and theology
• Pastoral training
• Human and emotional maturity
• Missionary spirit

Seminarians are formed not only to serve locally but to be missionaries wherever the Church may send them. They embody the hope and future leadership of the Diocese.

The Diocese also benefits from missionary priests and religious from international congregations who contribute to formation and pastoral mentorship.
