Responding to God’s Call in a Missionary Diocese
The Catholic Diocese of Marsabit is a vibrant missionary Church blessed with vocations emerging from its 19 parishes across diverse communities, including the Rendille, Gabra, Samburu, Borana, and Turkana peoples.
At the same time, the Diocese joyfully welcomes missionaries from different countries and religious congregations priests, brothers, sisters, and lay missionaries who generously offer their lives in service to evangelize the people of northern Kenya.
Vocation in Marsabit is not limited to priesthood alone. It includes:
- Diocesan priesthood
- Religious life (brothers and sisters)
- Missionary service
- Lay apostolate
- Married life rooted in Christian witness
In this missionary territory, vocations are born from faith, sacrifice, cultural richness, and the deep desire to serve Christ and His Church.
